Online Piano and Voice Lessons
Online Piano Lessons
Weekly zoom piano lessons can take place 100% remotely with Bloom Studio. Enjoy lessons from the comfort of your own home, no matter where you live or travel with your very own online piano teacher.
All materials will be sent via google classroom and email, so there is very little equipment needed for online piano lessons. Lessons take place using zoom and a second screen will be used to share an image of Ms. Bloom's hands at the keys and to screenshare worksheets, music, and important information.
Online Voice Lessons
Weekly zoom voice lessons can take place 100% remotely with Bloom Studio. Enjoy lessons from the comfort of your own home, no matter where you live or travel with your very own online voice teacher.
All materials will be sent via google classroom and email. You can also choose to take FaceTime voice lessons if you prefer not to use zoom. Ms. Bloom will screenshare worksheets, music, and important information during the lesson.
Setting up Remote Music Lessons
Online lessons are offered through FaceTime or Zoom.
Download the Zoom App on your phone, tablet, or desktop computer and create an account. (Or send Ms. Bloom your FaceTime info if you’d prefer that route.) Zoom is preferred as it allows Ms. Bloom to screen share music, worksheets, and a second camera over the piano. When it comes time for your lesson, setup your phone, tablet, or computer in a quiet room with good light and at a high enough position where Ms. Bloom can see your full body (if you’re a singer) or your hands and face (if you’re a pianist.) If you’re a pianist. Make sure to plug in your phone or tablet during the lesson. Ms. Bloom will call you on FaceTime or you can login to zoom at your lesson time and proceed with the lesson from there.
If you’re a singing student, you’ll also need a separate device (a phone, tablet, or computer) to play any backing tracks or links that Ms. Bloom emails to you so that you can sing with them during the lesson.
Make sure to have a pencil to write notes in your music.
Any necessary worksheets or sheet music will be sent to you prior to the lesson via google classroom.
Asynchronous Piano Lessons
Bloom Studio offers personalized recorded video lessons for their WunderKeys preschool, primer, and level 1 piano students. Practice and learn on your own schedule with weekly recorded video lessons, worksheets, and games. Enjoy this cost-effective and schedule-friendly way for students to learn at their own pace and still receive personalized attention and participation in recitals and workshops. This is also a great option to get a child started in piano lessons if Bloom Studio's schedule is currently full. All materials will be sent weekly via google classroom. Lessons are $25 per week, payable monthly. 1 month's notice required for discontinuing.
